How To Use Ice Tool in Map Builder

Hi,

I've started to create my new map. This time I want to really focus on creating a snow/ice winter style map.

I tried adding ice to the map but I have no idea on how to actually use the "Ice Tool" when I use it it doesn't add ice to the map. I have searched for tutorials but I can't seem to find anything.

It is probably extremely simple so if anyone could explain on how to use the tool so ice will be placed in the map then that would be fantastic!
