Building cancel no refund

I was soviets and had 140 fuel, I start building a tank building and a panther rolls up on my base. It backs off after a while and I cancel the building, because I had advanced warfare so I could get a t34/85. When I cancelled the building I was left with no building and 0 fuel, lol.

T34/76 is NOT a joke on my hands; Maybe on your hands you make it suck shit? but on me, No. I can kill a stug with a little micro, go toe to toe with a Panzer 4. Is it a joke? LOL T34/85 is apparently a very good tank. But no one says it "one hit wipe" or elefant penetration; up to a point i think this little medium tank just have too much health and too much firepower with that fuel cost.

yes, panther shot several times, but did not destroy it. I have the replay saved.

I watched it again to make sure the panther didn't destroy it. Sometimes in the heat of battle things happen and you don't see, but the panther was out of range and the building was still there incomplete.
