This is my description from the workshop:
'Arriving close to the village we realized we had to stretch out. Some of us went over a hill and across a bridge to secure a cut-off point. Without it we had no chance to bring in tanks anytime soon. Scouting the village in the center we have been ambushed since no one saw the enemy coming in this no man's land around the village. But we found an opportunity ourselves and ambushed a small munitions base the enemy just tried to get hold of. And so the tides turned.' Notes of an unamed soldier

German forces retreating South West of Kharkov towards the Donetz river come under aerial attack. With the Wehrmacht forced to abandon many man and equipment they push on to the Donetz. A small Panzer-Grenadier-divsion of the Grosdeutschland is left behind as a rear guard to delay the enemy.
