R.I.P. random 2v2s.
it was dead already in top100 because with mate was worth playing. But now. you can be matched against AT team, and it makes no sense to play random 2v2 then because it isnot only random 2v2.

is it just me or does the player cards only update for pure pub games, that is, if you play with friends it won't count.

What do you mean? I thought COH2 just mixed 2v2 random and arranged team since day 1.
Whether you play with a friend or a random person, you will face a pair of dudes with their Skype or just random noobs. Is it changed after patch?

what i meant is, it wont and normal ppl dont play with random in top200

Because they don't want to fuck their stats.
Now that AT and random are separated, top200 will be able to play random, and not fuck their AT stats.
So, actually, it will revive random team games, and not kill it. imo.

I think there are more than you think, it's just different time zones. Certainly no one I know who's not high will play random

Playing 2v2 with a random-mate at the moment is broken. I dont know why, but it is.
