I just ordered strike of IŁ airplanes on huge pile of enemy infantry and 1 Pz 4 and plane just flew by them without shooting. Whats going on? I also used some of this in campaign and they were very uneffective(had trouble to kill even 1 soldier).

Was it a strafe or bombing run? Because it sounds to me that you ordered a strafe, and one will target armour and the other will target infantry.
Which commander did you pick?
