I have tried to download COH2 maps from the Steam Workshop (Berlin, Ruinberg, etc are some of the ones I have subscribed to). However, they aren't being installed by the Workshop in my mods/scenarios/subscriptions folder and thus I can't access them in-game. I am beyond frustrated.
Is there a mirror site (COH1 has tons of such sites) for COH2 maps that is /will also have uploaded maps?
The only website I could find was the War Gazette (http://www.thewargazette.com/downloads/) which had a few maps.

it seems that you have to go in game, go to the steam workshop tab of the main menu, it will start downloading the maps, I then suggest alt tabbing out to do something else

I'll try this. Not a very obvious method. When i subscribe to the maps they download (at least according to steam) but they aren't in my subscriptions folder.

Pressing the refresh-button did it for me, down loading started right after i pressed it
