After a couple posts & several personal messages about how "off" it is for soldiers to be wearing summer uniforms in winter... if anyone knows the easy way to do this no problem I'll do it & update them. I didn't see where to set this. I'm very busy making more coh1 maps into coh2 maps & not worried enough about it to dig around & find out right now. THANKS!

I'm not completely sure about this(not tested it).
1. open your maps ".info" file in a text editor (like Notepad or Notepad++).
2. one of the last lines says default_skin = "",
3. type: winter in-between the "". (default_skin = "winter",)

tried it out myself and it does work, it also loads the winter variation of some objects like structures and bridges.

I will post a tutorial about this. Here's the short version:
Open yourmapname.options in notepad and change uses_ice = false to uses_ice = true
Each time you export package make sure this value is set to true. WordBuilder might edit this file on save.
