How do I beat Panzer Crossing on General?

Panzer Crossing is by far the hardest Theater of War mission I've played on General. I've tried PTRS Conscript spam, KV-1s rushing the base, tank trap walls, but every time they build their Pz.IVs and StuGs before I can do any damage. I also play with AI because I don't have anyone else to play with so that doesn't help. How do I beat this?

Use guards and AT guns, with KV-1 to soak damage. Add TD if you have the pop cap for it.
