Will coh3 campaign be challenging as total war ?

I have played thousand hours of coh2 and total war (mostly 3k and shogun) and love the competitive of coh2 and difficulty of total war. After have seen coh3 release featuring a turnbase campaign like total war (or ardennes assault on steroid). I have been playing the pre alpha recently and it seem too easy (of course...pre alpha). So i hope that when fully released, the campaign will have the same difficulty as total war like how it is easy to lose an army/company, how making a wrong move be punishing, making you retry an entire campaign ect... Mostly to make me spend alot of time in sp. And for mp i believe relic will do a great job since they have experience making coh2 so balanced (mostly lol) and keep the playerbase healthy and i cant ask for more. That all i wish for, i wish the team behind coh3 luck to release the game to meet the needs of most players.
