I thought of this that should be coded into COH2:
If you disconnect from a match due to any reason, such as servers down or sync error, at the defeat screen, the continue play option will be locked and greyed out. Hover your mouse over it and it will say "You cannot continue playing because you have been disconnected."

not sure what that should even achieve, apart from further complicating things. or did i miss something here?
