Once I try to join any kind of lobby the game puts me back into the starting screen.

However in this Topic it is concluded he is banned.
Can anyone provide some clarity on this?
As I am quite certain I did not commit any kind of offense at all.
What I tried so far:
-Verifying game cache
-Reinstalling CoH 2
-Reinstalling Steam
Cannot play online at all

Turns out I was banned because I reported a random I was matched with for hacking.
What kind of system is that?
Like, why should I ever report someone again if I get banned in the process?!
