Very nice game! I tried to flank and make use of the hit the dirt as much as I could and in combination with constant harassment, howitzer, mines and t-34s I am quiet happy with my play. But BkMod played excellent as well! And I used only one sniper team that didn't lived that long and NO SU85s! So no complaining about this combination being op, you can win as russians even against a pak 43 emplacement without that strat. Although I used the guard rifle combined arms like everyone else, too. What a shame Hope you enjoy this match!

I feel Guards are more important than an SU, but that highlights the issue with this game. Soviets need guards way too much.

It's true that many many players rely on the guards as a small anti-tank unit with the great button ability. I used one single squad the whole game, killed one 222 and buttoned one p4 which resolved in killing it. So i agree to the one aspect that they're a doctrinal ability and therefore if you want to use another doctrine you miss the guards quite often. Maybe just switch the penals with the guards? But then the guards would need some kind of nerfing...
