By no means a high level replay, his is a reference for this thread to show some basics on how to vet up and utilize a Pack Howitzer.
They key in my experience is making an effective supporting army beforehand and spending resources wisely to get the pack howi out with impactful timing. Either go Infantry commander and 4 rifles and ambulance (and eventually lmgs) or 3 rifles and nades then ambulance (then Pathfinders for vision) before captain IMO.
Never underestimate the Captains "Supervise" ability. It's only a bit slower than Soviet industry speed building for infantry and vehicles.
