It's too expensive in 1v1's. Too much of a risk, and then you wont have a proper counter to the panther in time (SU-85) doesn't count..). Teching is not worth while unless you really dominate early game, imo, but then I prefer fast T34 or T70.

I love that T 70 =] LoL at Vet 2 and 3 with its recon sight range
