I haven't seen anyone use the Ace in quite a long time. Took it for a whirl this game when Jacksons started to give my P4s problems, and the airborne LMG blob killed my infantry (and some of my MGs).

US does very well against WM EXCEPT.... EXCEPT in the case of the BIG tanks. The Ace still can change things. I broke out the King Tiger and it's so slow that it died within 1 min of hitting the field, lol. I was hoping it would turn the tide but all it did was waste my time, lol. I'd have rather had an Ace to be honest. Heck a regular Vet 1 Tiger would suite me better.
