If you did more than two of those SU-85 changes you would severely hamper soviet AT options. Not too mention if you added the other "Balancing changes" to the other three tanks. |

Bringing out a M3 after 3 Cons means they can have an upgunned AC before you pull it out, not a great idea. |
Grenades go exactly where you tell them to go. If theres 3-4 models stacked up the squad is going to die. This is why rifle nades suck balls against Maxims (Theres usually only 1-2 models on a grenade area). |
I've noticed looking back on my previous Soviet losses - Most are when i build a Penal instead of an additional sniper or calling a guard on. |
I've used Upgunned AC's as part of my strat and they demolish clown cars, vet fast and can take on T70s. Remember you can always repair, and come back for more - You'll repair your AC faster than they repair the T70. |
ISU demolishes the Elephant, be careful if they go that doctrine with Guards + ISU. |
Reinforcing with conscripts will reduce your reinforcement cost by 50%. Very effective. It's a shame with armour value of one (Same as conscripts) penals die to basically everything. |
