Actually no, at the time mortar was introduced riflemen got the smoke grenade and not other units.

Would be really nice. I think the main reason USF mortar was put in, was cause they had no other smoke than LT, CPT, RE, Major smoke when nades are teched. Maybe coppying brit mortar isn't a bad idea. I think they're roughly the same. Btw if i could ask one more thing. Is it possible to have all stats from every unit put into like a website or somewhere where everybody can see it? Right now you guys are doing a great job with the balance and you're saying you have changed this or that. But i have no clue how the unit completely is. for example: Because of the above changes, the Cromwell is losing its target size advantage over other medium tanks. This is being compensated with a boost to its MGs to allow the tank to better combat infantry. MG cooldown duration from 2/3 to 2/2.5 MG far cooldown from 1.5 to 1 MG mid cooldown from 1 to 0.85 MG far accuracy from 0.35 to 0.4 MG mid accuracy from 0.55 to 0.575 Here you say that it loses it's advantage over other mediums cause of the change and therefor you boost the MG. Here are the patchnotes. I've been noticing a recurring bug with the USF mortar. I mainly buy a mortar to use smoke. With the USF mortar I can use the smoke ability once or twice, sometimes more, but then the mortar bugs out and only auto-fires(it sees something and shoots). For some reason the abilities don't work anymore after using any of its abilities after a couple of time's or even less. I have no clue what it has to do with. But this is quite an annoying bug as smoke for USF is kinda important at times. When the bug happens, the ability is glowing green(like it is trying to do the ability) but the mortar looks stuck and doesn't seem to do anything. It would also help if the howitzer had any smoke. I would like a response in case you've seen this. If any more info is needed, you can always ask me, but this is as mutch as i can give. It might also take a while before i notice, i'm not so active. i actually think the firefly is to OP. i think a td shouldnt have a damaging stun ability. even just a stun ability. its like elelpant with stun. its total bs. like you could litterly (if you have2, wich for sure happens) fire one tulip (wich stuns) then shoot and fire second tulip and you for sure got the kill. Watch people like hans, vonivon(not for his throws ) and so on.... I started from the beginning aswel(i stopped playing, but i reached top50(my goal)). After a couple of monts of watching hans' stream and others i got around rank 120. Hotkeys were very important. Everytime i planted a mine i didn't do it with mouse, i forced myself to do it with hotkeys, and so on until i knew how to place buildings. The longer you watch streamers and the more you play the more information you get and the better you micro gets. Something very important that has to do with micro is the option to choose between two ways of microing. The option with TACTICAL MAP and the one without(like hans). Now hans plays without cause he just cant or doesnt want to, and he has the micro to do it. others play with cause they cant without(like me), or they may just like it more. If you've always played without the map its hard to get used to it, but you just click it when you're about to look at minimap, and you keep reminding yourself of doing it. Sometimes just randomly press it just for you to remember. At the end you normally should automatically push button for the map just to move units for example. The map helped me so much as i sometimes forgot my units, and that was my biggest problem. For example a unit isn't capping something while i thought he was in circle. If i wouldn't use the tactical map it would take longer for ME to see that he isnt capping. So as you're waiting on the message of him saying it is captured, it just isn't comming. You can loose squads or keep them idle for so long that it has an effect on your chance of winning the game. So i started trying to find a solution until i saw people that used the tactical map. It helps so much cause in that small window it gives you so much information, the posibilty of loosing squads for me decreased much and with idle units the same. The big problem with the tactical map, hotkeys and such. They have such a shitty spot to reach with your hands. So i had to learn autohotkey aswel... But didnt take to long and i had a nice script running that only became better by time. There's so much stuff that's important i wouldn't believe myself if i said i didn't let anything out. By far actually. I mean i just gave a litle information. But atleast you got this bit. gl! In: COH2 Gameplay |
