We used to be able to cap the wall using the spline state machine, but that functionality seems to be gone.
The way to do it is hunt down the column piece in the walls directory. Usually it's a similar naming convention (rough_m_01 has like rough_m_post or something), and just place it as an object at the end of the spline.
Be warned that not every wall has a matching end column piece; you may need to improvise, or just use a different wall.
