Not sure why people keep saying that games being rushed = bad. Games historically have always been rushed. Very few games benefit from being delayed and that is typically just last minute changes or bug fixes.
I think it's more about them being unfinished rather than 'rushed', with bugs and missing features that ruin the experience. Plenty of games are rushed in the sense that the developers are forced to crunch in order to get a semi reasonable product out on time, no doubt that they would benefit from a delayed launch because it gives them vital time to finish the product. It's just the nature of the industry.
I shudder to think how much worse this one would of been if it wasn't delayed. There's a very strong argument that it should have spent another year in development, at least.
