I have found YOUR SALVATION! Here's how it goes: Start a custom game. Load up your favourite faction as yourself. Load up your enemy faction as AI, make sure to give it easy AI to match its historical/RL/whatever combat ability cause they sucked ja/ya?. Start playing and never ever see kruppstahl!/allied FirePowah! be ever outmatched by those evil allies/nazi scumbag! In: Lobby

Its not like soviet snipers inflict heavy bleed on volks either, so your argument is countered for over a year already. If you recall correctly I've been posting about how squad sizes NEED to be standardized for quite some time now. And to counter your point: Those target tables can be implemented to give sov sniper a higher RoF vs volks too. And I'd say that's a better solution than an indirect stealth buff to all sov infantry and weapon crews vs ost by nerfing ost sniper RoF. But ofcourse, you'd love any buff for soviets wouldn't you? You basically need to be in cover to get bonus from vet3, at least for the two guys using the scoped lee enfield. But why did they do this? IIRC in alpha the vet description was just cosmetic and the tommies just got a acc/RoF buff. This is brutally wrong. That scoped LE ought to be same as base In: COH2 Balance

Apparently grens are tougher and stronger offensively due to a bug or something someone was saying. Like they're slightly more durable and accurate than they were intended to be. Ya grens are bugged atm. Makes it so 1 gren can beat a USF rifle squad 1 on 1 at mid range (previously SOP was to RUN LIKE HELL) In: COH2 Balance

The fanboyism is strong with this one OT brit need mp bleed fix, and less gimmicky OP units late game. IS are wierd in that they start horrific and become super awesome at vet3 with upgrades and extra man (20% more base dps and health). Maybe increase base stats slightly and decrease vet boni? Ost sniper needs target table aim-time increase against IS (and Rifles.) Their emplacements need flame-weapon bugfix. Ost mortar will be getting nerfed but for now its an issue. Wasp needs range/dmg decrease. Vickers needs perma-range bugfix. Slighlty increase armor on UC in exchange for lower far dps? so grens can't rifle it from far but it can't kite them from far either? In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Ostheer Sniper overperforming7 Sep 2015, 07:41 AM I fully support a nerf for ost sniper, but RoF is not the way to go. Cause that makes him useless against soviets. Better would be to adjust his Rof vs UKF/USF via a target table which increases aim time. In: COH2 Balance

Have they been buffed recently? There've been so many patch notes recently I haven't read all of them. All AoE weapons were reworked to always pen and never miss in exchange for smaller AoEs. Example: Basically, before, you could have a mortar shell fall near an entity and he would take no damage as the blast would 'miss' him or (in case of shocks/vehicle) possibly not 'pen' him. They got rid of that non-sense and tweaked the AoEs to be smaller for all AoE weapons. Hence now the mortar and all other AoE weapons do their dmg reliably. Its just more noticeable on the Ostheer mortar because of its (current) insanely high RoF which will soon be nerfed to a (possibly) more sensible value In: COH2 Balance
