Thread: M26 Pershing25 Jul 2014, 13:50 PM Pershing is "must-have" unit for USF. Not as armored like Tiger but still can stand on front of it. The biggest problem for me while playing USF is lack of chasing units. For so many times I took from KT over 80% of HP but what advantage I get from this? None cause 10-15% KT retreaded and after 3mins it showed again with 100% HP. The problem is I couldn't chase it and finish it cause of glass cannon M36. It's isnt fair that USF can not finish almost killed unit. Tiger, Panther, IS, ISU, KV2, Jadgtiger, KT... All units CAN chase dying one unit and finish it. But USF can not... Taht's why M26 must be deployed. Right now almost 80% of USF players are using Rifleman doctrine for E8. Creation of few new commanders with Pershing, Hellcat and Jumbo would spread out for many different doctrines. In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: M36 Jackson Tank Destroyer25 Jul 2014, 11:25 AM M36 is powerful but still useless when you need to chase retreating Tiger with 1/10hp cause probably you will enter Tiger's range (is you want to see it) and there will be some AT guns around so all you can do is wait for another Tiger approach after repairs. Btw, if Jacckon turret has no roof (so 1 of the crew can get up with binoculars) why it does not have ability increasing sight? In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Easy Eight24 Jul 2014, 15:56 PM Some of you are complaing about skipping T4... How about Assault Grens doctrine? Ost can skip everything with it. Assault Grens? Check. Panzer Grenadiers? Check. early-mid game vehicle, Stug? Check. Arty? Check. Tiger? Check. No need to build anything. About E8... Command King Tiger is coming and you want to nerf the best USF vehicle (which still is shit when compare to best of soviets, okw and ost). What's more, it's only in 1 doctrine so in fact you know from the first minute what you enemy is planning and you have a lot of time to get prepared for E8. In: COH2 Balance

Sure it can take it but it's not often. Once I had a game when Tiger with HP for one shot retreated to the base. I couldn't flank it so I just put my Jackson in front of Tiger. First shot deflected. Tiger hits. Second shot deflected and then Tiger destroyed my M36. In 3v3 there is also huge problem with vehicles with good support. How many times I had situation where I almost took down King Tiger but it just moved back a little, repairs, shows up, and again repairs. The problem is that USF can not chase to bring down almost dead unit. That's the main problem. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: B-4 abilities17 Jul 2014, 19:33 PM I guess I could not take a shot cause target was not in sight of B-4. It was on uncovered area but there were some trees between B-4 and target. I think that's why. In: Red Army Strategies
Thread: B-4 abilities17 Jul 2014, 13:57 PM I just got B-4 commander as this free temporary commanders so I had never used B-4 before. First ability is simple. Mark the spot and wait for shot. Third is also very simple. But I have no idea how works second abilit - anti-vehicle one. I rotate it so I have target in front of B-4 and in range of this ability. I chose it, click on enemy's tank and... Nothing happens. Others 2 work just after I click. This one does not. I mark vehicle time after time and nothing happens... Today I had situation where Jadgtiger had engine damage, stood still, was in range, map was uncovered yet still B-4 didn't fire. In: Red Army Strategies

Thread: Balance Wehrmacht vs. US14 Jul 2014, 17:22 PM Ok, nerf lieutenant, AA halftrack but give Pershing in late game and I'm cool. Still, Rifle cannot be nerfed. They are in most cases the only infantry USF have so they need to stand in late game also. As Ost I just use Assault Grens and that's all. They are very effective vs rifle. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Vet 2 Rifle from start....14 Jul 2014, 17:14 PM Who gave E8 to this commander? -> Who gave Tiger Ace to elite? Still Ass Grens are better and they are also 0 CP. Elite troops abiliy costs something but you can vet everything so it's bad comparasion. E8 is really cool but still inferior to Jackson as AT and to Sherman as AI. Making it as it was in alpha will put this ability useless becasue no one will use it at the beggining and after several mins you will already have vetted rifle so you won't need this ability anymore.
