Thread: US heavy tanks confirmed ?27 Jun 2015, 12:24 PM I don't see how Pershing + Jackson would be OP.. I mean, first we would have receive Pershing. Then it depends if it would be generalist or more like Panther. If generalist, how powerful? It should be worse than Tiger and better than Panther vs infantry, in my opinion. But let's stick to the topic... Tiger + Stugs King Tiger + Jadgpanzer Panther + Jadgtiger IS2 + SU85 IS2 + T34/85 In 2v2 there are more powerful combinations like: King Tiger + Elephnat Tiger + Jadgtiger Tiger + Elephnat Brummbar + Elephant King Tiger + Jadgtiger (gardening insane) IS2 + Jackson (which would be definetly better than M26+M36) IS2 + ISU So... I hardly see how Pershing + Jackson would be OP, especially if Pershing doctrine would lack of any off map, which means pak43 all day long. In: COH2 Gameplay

Sorry, but your comparsion is pudding. You are compareing ammo which you are investing in your troops to make them deadly vs ammo you just must spend to stop MGs (you are not investing in your troops). In: COH2 Balance

That's something similar, but not the same. Variety adds flavor imo It's not about reinforcing. HT won't break suppression, HT won't make blobbing effective tactic, HT is very easy to destroy, HT won't provide 20sec for next wave and on and on... Mobile reinfore for all instead of FRP.
