The AVRE does not have to stand still for a minute to reload. That's worth a lot since you don't have to go way back to ensure safe surroundings while reloading. Stnading for a minute is worth everything if you always penetrate, one shot medium tanks and shoot from fog of war without reaviling yourself to enemy In: COH2 Gameplay

Where a horde of basic (vet 5) long-ranged infantry is what you are facing with A move (+ Shrecks on volks). Jägers are no long range support, they are basically yet another infantry squad which happen to have a nice crit chance. I did not say Jaegers, but like Jaegers/Pathfinders. Fragile unit, with good sight, with % chance to snipe when model has X% of HP, but rather useless in real fight. In: COH2 Balance
