I don't see any difference between precision shot and for example PzWerfer or Stuka zu Fuss wipes or Stuka dive bomb. You hear the sound, you don't know where excatly it will land, it can wipe everything, so what's the difference? I rememeber huge whines about shooting at Med Truck after retreat. How is that different from shooting at med truck/ambulance with Werfer/Calliope/Stuka? Sure, B4 is more powerful but if so, presicion shot could do 50% damage of normal barrage. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Conscript scaling16 Mar 2016, 19:58 PM Jump back to quoted post16 Mar 2016, 19:43 PMPlaguer With PPSHs they're pretty strong late game, especially if you're playing with the Guard Rifle Combined Arms Tactics commander or whateverthehell and have some Guards support your Pushing cons, I've found this to be very viable in 1v1s and 2v2s, the only problem with this commander is that it doesn't have a call in tank but that can be covered by the IL-2 loiter + howitzer combo to deal with infantry Problem with PPSH Cons is (unless you ambush around the corner) that you need to reinfrce/retreat after each frontall assault In: COH2 Balance

You can fire at light vehicles from behind a screen of AT nade wielding conscripts with the M42 without exposing the unit to enemy fire. A guard squad has to be directly on the front-line to fight, vulnerable to repressive- or focus fire from the enemy. This may force an early retreat of your AT unit, this collapsing your front line. The M42 does not have this limitation because it has range. On the other hand it has also cons. Can be flanked, can be circled to death, can't retreat etc. Everything has pros and cons. Thread: M-42 vs other light AT.16 Mar 2016, 16:54 PM I dont see any reason why anyone whould go for 120mm in first place You can as well go for Guards and T3 and a bit later, if you won't steal raketen/pak techdown for T2. M42 is useful for like what? 7mins? And then it;s going to eat your popcap while doctrine won't give you anything special. I agree it can be useful, once in 2v2 when I used it, I won agasint top 100 axis team but it does not change the fact that there are better strats/options. In: COH2 Balance
