Thread: Problems with playing OKW17 Feb 2015, 01:31 AM I bought the WFA over the weekend for a whole 4 euros and I'm having a big problem playing OKW, can anyone help? No matter what I do, I can't find any use for my manpower float! I tried using a blob of 4 volks and 3 ober squads but I fell asleep half way through the game. Any suggestions on what to do with the manpower while I let my cat win the game? Thanks! In: COH2 Gameplay

If you use the target vehicle then yes its got good accuracy but this ability costs ~= dive bomb so I don't see the problem, the vet 1 ability it gets is a vet ability so should be decent but admittedly is poorly designed atm as it makes its other ability pointless. The B4 is easily killed by any off map and usually, like most arty, ends up as a waste of MP. It would be nice to see it in some more doctrines though as I like to try and make it work. The KV-2 is the sole reason I play industry and I would also like to see this in another commander. Would be great to see the KV1 and KV2 in more doctrines, especially if KV1 ever gets up from the overnerf of the last patch. B4 is fun but impossible to keep alive, especially with the current Elephant-dominated meta. In: COH2 Gameplay

Pgrens still have excellent DPS at all ranges, use them for flanking weapon teams or infantry-based AT vs. medium tanks. They might need a slight cost drop but no more than that. In: COH2 Balance

To my mind, saying "yes" is accepting that they are currently more cost efficient and increasing their cost to better align it with their performance. The current situation is: Your first T34/76 costs you 120+100=220 fuel. Your first IS2 costs you 230 fuel. Your first SU85 costs you 120+120= 240 fuel. Your first ISU152 costs you 260 fuel. German numbers are similar to this. (Just think about a Tiger at 230 fuel vs. a Panther which has a build cost of 175 alone, to say nothing of the teching cost) Change the costing system to requiring tiers to call in heavy tanks and you change 2 things: 1. Extend the mid-game and end Company of Call-ins (tm) 2. Align the cost of heavies with their performance P.S. ISU and Elephant still need nerfbat application to the face. In: COH2 Gameplay
