Hey guys i intend to up my rig sometimes next month, is the spec like this looks good for general gaming?
- Motherboard: Asus Strix Z270H Gaming
- CPU: I5 - 7500 (the description said it is for Win10 only, is this gonna be a problem?)
- RAM: G.Skill 32GB (2400) F4-2400C15Q-32GVR (4x8GB)
- PSU: Power Acbel 570W Tora (dunno if this is enough juice for the system)
- SSD Zotac 120GB
- HDD 1TB Seagate Sata
- VGA: AMD HD 7870 (from my current PC, i think it's still good)
Everything seems like it would work just fine for gaming in that setup. Core I-5 7500 is compatible with that motherboard, there was a slew of motherboards that had issues with that cpu but the Z270 is fine.
The rest of the setup is meh, I would recommend getting a PSU that is a little more towards 750 because with that type of setup your going to want to overclock some things and 570w is cutting it close.
G-Skill ram is good, if you want to reach those kinds of advertised speeds on your mobo, then you will have to overclock which i recommend this website to figure out timings and voltage (http://www.overclock.net/).
You may want to upgrade or at least overclock is your GPU, the 7870 is outdated and was a mid range GPU at the time, with current games you may see your GPU start to bottleneck your computer depending on what game your playing.
Thanks for posting and Cheers!
