It actually reduces the DPS of Stug for 5 secs stun and 35 munition cost, Tullips increase the DPS of the vehicle and cost 40 munition each. Why would it be any other way? Pay attention before screaming random things. Shrecks doesn't exactly need long aim time and contrary to PTRS, you can easily get off a volley before vehicle gets close to you, taking it down to snare threshold. And G43 already got sufficient snare and have no excuse to use anything else. Such big brains, so little room for common sense. In: COH2 Balance

Thread: COH2 winter balance mod - discussion26 Jan 2020, 15:46 PM Jump back to quoted post26 Jan 2020, 11:20 AMblvckdream One idea I had when thinking about how to fix the Soviet Airborne Doctrine: Make Airborne Guards an AT-specialist squad similar to tripple elite Bazooka rangers: - Give them the same starting RA as normal Guards but replace the veterancy RA buff with a damage reduction similar to what Grens get so they become a very durable AT-infantry squad. Higher survivability than tripple Bazooka Rangers but less alpha strike damage. - Give them 3 SVTs + 3 PTRS (with better anti-tank stats than the regular Penal PTRS, more penetration and better reload) + AT-Satchel --> Now the Airborne Guards have synergy with the doctrine as a AT element to support the SVT Cons. Then replace the IL2 AT Rocket strafe with either the IL2 AI loiter or the IL2 precision bombing run. That would make the doctrine have good synergy without being overly cancerous and still viable for 1v1 and 2v2. Soviets don't need 4 different AT squads, 3 of which being doctrinal PTRS. I see no reason an increase in 11% in mp40 0-10 range dps warrants a whole cp increase along with price increase when there are already plenty powerful units at 2cp like guards, shocks, falls, ppsh penals (if you wanna consider them). Guards and shocks aren't ambush units. Ppsh penals are dictionary definition of glass cannons and can't stealth. Falls have half their potency locked behind tech and starting DPS while good is already much lower then 60+. 10%+ is a massive buff, regardless which stat you talk about here. In: COH2 Gameplay

I have to look up the exact DPS (and other bonusses) yet, but what holds Falls back is a overall mediocre commander that you usually only get for Falls and Valiant Assault in hope to wipe enough units until your opponent gives up. Also their range profile is way better then Storms They indeed to have good firepower out of the gate, but its not 80+dps out of camo, which some people compare it to. In: COH2 Gameplay
