Yeah let's just forget that it 1 shots squads frequently, has an ability that lets it shoot through *EVERYTHING* on the map, crew shocks other tanks, does 240 damage (tied for 2nd highest damage value in the game on a unit) and 100 range.
The ISU-152 is probably the best tank in the game...
That must be why we see it almost every game.

I'm not sure why an ISU-152 needs, in your words, a "ZiS pair" when it *greatly* out-ranges every piece of German armor except for the Elefant. ISU-152 can kill Tigers and Panthers with ease, as can Su85s which also don't need ZiS to support them.
Might have something to do with 9 sec reload, extremely slow rotation, paper armor and 150 penetration. The only german piece of armor that can't outrun it is elephant. |
1. Osttruppen have 48 Health and 1 Armour as well, that makes them about the same. Osttruppen do fair better in cover because they get specific bonuses in addition to the normal cover bonus.
Osttruppen have 6 entities, therefore are 50% more durable. Which makes Partisans about 40% as durable as conscripts, while osttruppen are 60% as durable as scripts/grens.
2. Irregulars are the same durability as Conscripts, they just have 2 less men per-squad at the cost of better weapons and a real grenade.
Which makes them 50% less durable then conscripts.
I do agree that here at least firepower and nade make up for the poor survivability and their survivability isn't as bad as partisans who melt even to 251 halftruck MG and that says something. |

They are 50% less durable then Osttruppen and germans have weapons with much better accuracy, which results is partisans standing 0 chance even in houses or in green cover.
Single PaK shot is enough to squad wipe them and durability upgrade is pretty meaningless, helps, but only a tiny bit.
They are ok to kill extremely wounder tank or decrew MG or mortar if you get ppsh variant, but other then that their strength is extremely weak.
If they were more durable they could be useful, but even 80hp irregulars feel extremely squishy, so I don't have much hope for partisans.
Not being normal soldiers is rather a poor excuse for such fragile unit that can't even camo, so for that reason I think if they could camo they'd be more useful. |

You might want to include the cost of molotovs and AT nades that are always upgraded before soviet armor hits the field, unless you play industry. No one will go T1-T4 without these upgrades and its plain stupid to not include them as teching costs as you will be forced to get them before SU. |

For soviet play right now is for girls, very easy to win, no need hability, just spam, all the units is better armor... The tanks dont decide the war, the infantry yes...

The catch-22 is that Relic made people PAY for this awful horribly designed system. So all the fools that actual bought commanders will be unhappy if relic was to redesign the system.
Correction-the only ones who are fools are the ones who think commanders will not be balanced AND the ones who think the system will be changed. |
