Thread: currently: what are the top 3 ostheer commanders ?24 May 2015, 08:00 AM Lol depends how many players really There are some GREAT doctrines that support you and your teammates. Assault Support Doctrine is currently my favorite. Close Air Support was neutered a bit by making enemy infantry able to avoid being strafed (good old days where I selected a circled area and any units inside became strafe targets). Definitely had better days before you had to choose the attack run. Elite troops seems more of a 1v1 type of doctrine. Its been nerfed hard since its creation, some people still use it. SOME. Mech Assault is a good doctrine, before Western Fronts it was all I used. Just tier 2 then wait for the tiger. Tiger's are pretty lame though, in team games why spend all that gas on a slow moving target (that can't even rotate its main gun fast enough to catch the 3 Jackson tank destroyer's flanking it) when you can get 2 or 3 Panzer4's with some Pak40's? Much better IMO. Better force projection. In: Ostheer Strategies

But your statement doesn't match with the games I watch live in CoH2. You know two of your clan (soviets) beat two extremely good players (this is a long time ago) on semoisky even though they lost 9/10 engagements? Yea, they eventually overwhelmed them because OST couldn't keep up with manpower losses and the fuckload of firepower. I just don't believe you, sorry. I try to tell people. OST has it worse in 2v2. Not only I but I have seen legitimately good players lose to allies simply due to the fact allies both have better numbers and firepower. The best so far I could come up with is Gren Gren Gren Gren tier 1 Scout Car If you want to know what I learned in 2v2 ... Always always always support where your teammate is going. Don't bother fighting 1v1, double team the enemy. Pray you get a OKW partner for better map control mid game. I use the doctrine with the supply truck and a tiger at the end. Tiger's, I don't know if it's just me but they suck. Even a Tiger Ace couldn't win a 2v2 (obviously) in a top 2v2 game I watched. They are always overwhelmed by US and soviet tanks and get destroyed. When it coems to my Ostheer vetoes, in 2v2 that's Ettelbruck, Rzhev Winter, Trois Pont and Bystraya Voda (because I'm a noob and can't handle Trois' bidges and Bystraya's one fuel and neon territory points. Sometimes my partner and I veto Semoskiy Winter because it's harder to win on as a mixed OKW/Ostheer force, and when I play 1v1 as axis I always veto Semoskiy Winter. "I suggest your statement never come up again" lmfao I'll say it again It. Should. Be. Deleted. Does that offend you? Oops. That map is bad and was THE place to abuse Maxim's aside from Minsk pocket. Thread: Air Support Doctrine Against Some Amazing Players29 Apr 2015, 04:29 AM It was an honor to play but I shouldn't be playing against them I bought this game a long time ago, and stopped playing regularly since Western Fronts. I should not be facing What Doth Life and Darth Abicus because of my inexperience (paired against Jesulin twice and I'm no where near his level). In fact I can't get into this game again because sometimes I get paired against well known good players from this community, it's not a rare occurrence. What Doth Life is level 100 3rd rank prestige, what the hell man. Anyway, I thought I'd try my old tactic, but it turns out PG's are pure trash. I am so thankful I had an OKW punching bag and an army of counters on the field and Pio's. In: Replays

Everyone can read how a fight is going, if I know you have nothing left and I see some enemy squads in the open I'm just going to order my blob to shoot at you GG If the situation demands caution then obviously each squads gets into cover and is spaced out. Notes: I just started playing CoH2 again but this was my cheese tactic simply because i thought it was funny. The point is there is no armor. Your AT are shreks, Paks and mines.
