It is a semi-automatic weapon after all, and it doesn't hold a candle to the Panzerschreck. The problem with the Penal PTRS, however, and why it could maybe have 3 is that the Penal PTRS squad doesn't scale really well into late-game. It's not incredibly dangerous to armour, it's snare while potent - is short-range and you're giving up an 8 population 300 manpower tier-locked squad to light anti-vehicle work that falters against infantry the moment it takes losses and the unit often doesn't have enough time to sustain DPS before getting butchered. I can see the need for increasing rate of fire, but at the end of the day, it's essentially a dedicated AV squad so it does need to threaten vehicles later in the game. In: COH2 Balance

But we'll keep an eye on the Mortar Pit and Advanced Emplacement. If we do nerf them, we do want to check if it is mainly the commander call-ins causing the issue. Osttruppen might receive manpower increases and maybe lock their Fausts to T1 considering it saves considerably more manpower - around 200 - if you went 3 Truppen vs 3 Grenadiers and the T1. And that manpower can be used for anything the Truppen player wishes, including more Osttruppen Perhaps Flametrack is an issue, but it may also be coloured by the Truppen. In my opinion, both can sit behind a wall of AI/AT defences and pluck away at allied armour with little risk. Is this not the same thought going into the proposed ISU152 changes? ISU-152's ability to snipe infantry from behind a wall of AT I would say is more impactful as you stop all ability to capture territory and also can deny VPs for infantry daring to step on that. The JT and Elefant are more devastating to vehicles, but they can't lock out a VP or territory from infantry on their own and bleed the opponent of infantry. And while I'm not responding too much, be assured we're keeping an eye on the posts passing through the threads. In: COH2 Balance

This is the most random change The AT Grenade changes was so non-vetted Rifles could snare, helping those who were rebuilt. In most cases, the AT Grenade change shouldn't change many things. Its overall perfomance of grenadiers which even holds LMG grens kinda back. I would honestly rather make grens 250MP inf, and give them powerbuffs keeping survivability the same. The problem here is you then break the early Conscript vs Grenadier match up. Grens do fairly well vs them early game, with Cons only winning if they have better cover or coming around the corner. Which leads to, how do you buff Grenadiers without impacting a lot of other areas.. In: COH2 Balance

Intended at the start. Conscript are a bit more reliant on sandbags early game to hold territory and their sandbags are easier to steal and use against the Soviet player due to their size. To make it clearer, could the barrage be called 'super-charge barrage' or similar? 'heavy' implies it deals more damage. The UI could be touched up.
