That's right, you have no control that we know of. At worst the system is unfair from person to person. But, your expectations aside, it still doesn't negatively impact you. There are no alternatives to your rewards and you don't get paid because there is no currency (yet). You get periodic rewards based on playtime and the most common rewards are not useful or impactful. In: Lobby

I think this is the takeaway here, and where reality clashes with belief. Sadly, you are not entitled to these commanders, regardless of what you may think. People will continue to whine as long as game altering items are hidden behind a pay wall or luck wall or whatever else kind of masonry.
