I suspect it is fake since we got no description in the files just a name and Thompson weapon rack is a fan speculated thing that seems like it would take unnecessary coding effort - why wouldn't rifles upgrade conventionally to save having to code replacing the 1919 rack just for one doctrine? Kinda like flamers. And no cavalry rifleman in cav doctrine? Seems like a missed opportunity. I suspect the new USA doc with the tanker head would contain persh, not that guy. In: Lobby

A calliope is another tool that the USF would majorly benefit from (i.e. blob killing arty; priest is great against static stuff but its no substitute for a Katyusha in blob killing). Additionally, if these doctrines lack significant early game punch, they could easily be outmuscled by other doctrines ESPECIALLY in 1v1s. What will happen is when it comes out everyone will use it for a few weeks then the novelty wears off and actual balance determines how popular the doctrine is. In: Lobby

Sure it may not be the most powerful. But it should be easy to keep alive as there is nothing that can do enough damage to it before it rolls away into an infantry screen or even with engine damage. It's pretty easy to secure an early advantage against the brits that snowballs from there. By the time a Churchill hits the scene you can have several T3 vehicles even with "reasonably close" fuel incomes. Stug TWP is currently the best way to punish them committing the churchill to an attack. If they've got an array of like, Churchill backed up by another player's comets or something then yeah, that's fucking potent. IMO give the Churchill 1280 HP but higher armor. I want it to be the hard counter to shrek blobs but without just taking 30 supertank hits from enemy armor. In: COH2 Balance

They're not OP overall, but they are overall very poorly balanced, with a mish mash combination of OP and UP stuff. Against OH they are very UP if they go snipers. In: COH2 Balance

It doesn't feel very good outside of its ludicrous HP pool, and its real slow to boot. Brit sniper is quite poor IMO and considering how late it comes it needs a slightly better recloak time. Flamer range on bren should be a bit lower. Early game brit in general needs some kind of rebalance because it's terrible. Commandos need a DPS nerf. Firefly needs a rebalance re: tulips. Thread: All recent LEAKS in one mega-post :relicleaks:2 Sep 2015, 00:35 AM I'm assuming the big new announcement will be a "Crossing the Rhine" campaign featuring the British, which will come alongside the release of new commanders with late war units e.g. Pershing. They'll take the opportunity to release the Goliath and other OKW doctrines alongside this even though those units are not strictly late war per se. The Germans already got all their late war stuff stock for the most part. In: Lobby
