Thread: LeIG is too effective11 Sep 2015, 00:12 AM It seems fine when I play Soviets and USF. When I play Brits it seems to murder me and my teammate. Not nearly as bad as snipers, but I'd say probably the 2nd toughest strat for us to face. Double ISG is very effective against emplacements, very long range and good for keeping them braced more or less constantly and randomly wiping engineers trying to repair them. Also great for dealing with Brits generally because model losses are very costly and they have sparse field presence due to manpower constraints. In: COH2 Balance

In terms of its offensive power, I think it's a terrible unit for the same reason Sturmtiger is and old B4 / ISU were, they're just wipe machines and that much of an alpha strike is tough to respond to. I mean theoretically yeah the AVRE has to get closer than ST and doesn't go through shot blockers / fog of war, but that's partially compensated for by how hugely resilient it is on account of its HP pool. Not necessarily "OP", but I hate it's design. In: COH2 Balance

Unfortunately the HP that was required to get it up to 80 also had unintended consequences for its small arms durability. Reverting the HP buff and using target tables to make mortars do less damage to german snipers seems like a good solution potentially. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Ostheer Sniper overperforming10 Sep 2015, 01:19 AM Bren MG upgrade could get a general buff, and then combined with the new accuracy vs sniper be a seriously good counter. Well they need to add an extra second to recloak time too. But if that doesn't work, just nerf the fucking German sniper ROF because they don't actually need to be that good to be viable.
