Second, you should see the coh2.org staff support for existant, and the vitrol for you. The contrast is hilarious.




Third, you say COH2.ORG .org is solely a platform to promote Vet3Events, or "ripoffevents"(where all the money in the growing prize pool goes directly to the players no questions asked... dat ripoff)

But..and i quote from the coh2.org about page:

COH2.ORG is a fansite dedicated to the Company of Heroes franchise, a collection of WW2 Real-Time-Strategy games for the PC developed by Relic Entertainment. We launched on the 18th of November, 2012, on the eve of Season 4 of our headline venue, Sunday Night Fights. Our mission is to support livestreams and events.

I mean I cant read or anything, but I think that means any community ran event or stream should get the support of coh2.org. Or someone needs to update the mission statement.


And fourth, with that said, at this point .org is a community forum/blog site with a livestream list and V3e is a tournament/event/casting hub. I dont think anyone is trying to "Not need .org" anymore. They are literally two different sites.

fifth, the best replays will still be uploaded here. Its also up to the teams whether or not they want to post the replay here as well. But the replays will be priority uploaded on v3e, whether anyone likes that or not. The replays and content were created because V3e put the effort into making the league that makes the replays. Why the fuck would it be any other way?

and sixth* Kappa, pls, I know you have nothing to lose, but please stop tossing your salt around. You're gonna make someone sick. Quite Literally no one likes you around here anymore. Go change your name, and find another game/ community, and start over again. As it is right now, Sections get debuffed out of cover, and are simply normal in cover, not buffed.

Like ciez said, Its an active ability not passive which means you have to time it properly when you want to use it, and use however much munitions each time. Which isn't that overpowered if you think about it.

I'd imagine With this ability active, they would use the normal cover bonus(which is not a bonus, its just removing the penalties they have out of cover which are massive)which would make them simply become a normal infantry squad, basically buffed grens, out of cover, for a duration of time, of course, and buffed more in cover.

So, Really it wouldn't be any more of a "brillantly designed legit idea that makes no sense" than the 'Assault' ability for sections from commando doctrine, infact it would just perform a different role, for a different doctrine. though I still dont think using bolt action rifle section squads with shit moving accuracy in the open would make a whole lot of sense, or be overly powerful, even with this ability. Sections would still be best used from cover most likely......

First step... Make a new property bag. Have you made a mod? Do you know what the attribute editor is? If not you should follow eliwoods video guide on how to set all that **** up.

The steps afterword are simple

Open attribute editor

Open "weapon" tab

Find weapon

You'll see a bunch of subfolders/property bags ranging from "aim time" to "damage" and "range"

And then it's as simple as changing the range value to whatever you want. Though for artillery, you'd likely have to adjust its scatter and some other shit so it wouldn't have wierd behavior/ accuracy at longer ranges.
