At 125 fuel it hard-counters a 230 fuel tank. In comparison a 125 fuel Pz4 doesn't hard-counter an IS2, nor a Stug or a panther. And so they shouldn't as they're all cheaper. Ofcourse this isn't the case with the jackson. At 125 fuel they easily destroy tigers and Pz4's, and are easily replaceable. It's fine to have this role but its price must be raised to reflect its effectiveness. Someone here mentioned the jackson costs slightly more than a tiger (because of the tech)? That would be true if the USF didn't have such a huge early game advantage against Ostheer. Map control = more resources. I will await your reply. 6 shots to kill a Tiger is 32 seconds for the Jackson assuming every shot was a hit and every shot was a penetration. Time to kill a Jackson with a Pak? 12 seconds. And it WILL pen 100% of the time. Clearly this must mean the Pak is OP because its so cheap..... 1 Jackson is a SOFT counter for a Tiger not a hard counter. And further on your other point map control does not produce any more Manpower then not having map control. Manpower is a huge part of its tech cost and actual cost. Let it go. You are wrong. Thread: US Mortar Halftrack's vet ability1 Jun 2015, 13:34 PM The Vet ability does great damage but has higher scatter. I played with it extensivley in cheat mod trying to find a use for it. It does alot of damage but has a low ROF and misses more often. You are better off just using standard barrage or attack ground. Both will kill a truck faster. The ability is pretty garbage and should be buffed. In: COH2 Gameplay

Thread: Vet gain18 May 2015, 17:17 PM I actually think some vehicles take WAY too long to Vet. Things like Dedicated units with a high cost such as JagdPanzers, Jacksons, Elephants, KV8s etc. Certain Infantry squads do and certain dont depends upon their ability to attack armor or not. Getting a Vet 3 Assault Gren is a bear but fausting or AT nading units gain it really quickly. In: COH2 Gameplay

So naturally it would get plenty of opportunities to snipe attacking and infiltrating enemy armor. It was not intended to perform the complex and offensive oriented roles of a Pz Division. The value of an armored unit is not really measured by how many tank to tank kills it gets. Yet Kursk was a full on tank Slugfest and again the Stug did well there. Sure they werent even in the Panzer Divsions but Artillery yet they performed very very well. A surprising fact that I did not expect. Right along with the P47 getting the largest amount of Air to Air kills of the Army Air Corps..... In: COH2 Balance

Thread: Jagdpanzer 4 - Underrated and Underused?13 May 2015, 14:43 PM Only thing I struggle to kill with a JP4 is the IS2. Other then that its a great and well balanced TD IMHO. Dedicated Tank Destroyer units SHOULD perform their jobs like beasts. The have only ONE way to get vet and are utterly useless otherwise. The Camo on it makes it strong but its DPS is worse then an SU85 but it makes up for it with a small target size, great armor and superior health at Vet as well as scaling. I actually think this is one of Relics best attempts at Asymmetrical balance. I do think its highly underated because no one likes to go through the trouble of casemate TDs in this game. In: Lobby

There is a book floating around out there that costs a couple of hundred bucks I forget the name but it was a statistical analysis of all losses on all sides of the War. And an excerpt from that book showed the Stug III got the most kills of all tanks in the war lol. So it really was a Stug Life! But yes I agree. Its much inflated. But the bias of personal accounts shows the same sort of thing. At least from the books that I have read. I cant however locate a decent amount of information on what EXACTLY did the most tank killing on the US side. I suspect it must have been AT Guns. If you know where I could find the answer and which books talk to it specifically I would appreciate it. Because like I said everytime I turn around to research accounts about what someone else said was what was knocking out Panzers left and right I find equal accounts that contradict it.
