Lots of dancing around 3 Stukas that ends in an epic crescendo. Greyhound makes an appearance as well (haven't seen that guy in a while). Yes it should be shitty, because you pay 0 for those defenses. There is also not much of a premium price on that tech building either, if you compare it to other good AA in the game. All the others have significant costs. The mobile flak truck is the only thing that should be knocking out low flying planes for okw (non-doctrinal). The defensive position you can place should have a better ability than the base defenses though, but I doubt it's that way already(because extra work). It wouldn't be that bad if it wasn't bugged and fired well outside of it's radius. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Countering Snipers16 Aug 2014, 09:16 AM I've had pretty good success with using the Kubel to force them to retreat. It's the best stop-gap measure to force them off the field until you can field a hard counter. It just takes a lot of micro to make sure it can dart in and pressure the sniper off the field. It landed on my HQ killing a vet 2 sniper and vet 2 guards squad. This has been my experience when fighting this commander. If you situate a (even solo) scout car in the middle of the map, it will almost reliably pick off the supply plane and let it crash into the enemy's base. In: COH2 Balance

Oh right, Soviet infantry AT. This has been revisited how many times of the course of this games life? And it's still brought up every time like it's a new thing. We get it, predominantly Soviet players want those shiny panzerschreks or an equivalent- so either kill an up-gunned PZG squad or move on. A pair of guards can shred through a PIV and it's a beautiful thing. Pair up a DP28 and a ZiS and watch what happens. I'm not saying Guards cant use some tweaking but to act like they're useless is just being hyperbolic. Just seems like a number of people want them to stand in front of a German tank in a field and wreck it. In: COH2 Balance
