Honestly? Give Guards little long-rage DPS boost and I would change ISU for JT any day.
Lets make it happen people. |
I don't understand why people always have to mention the Walking Stuka. It has a 2 min cooldown and is quite easy to dodge. It barely wipes anything apart from weapon crews.

^I pretty much agree to this post on the official CoH2 forums. Nothing more to say.
Also the topic is ISU/Jad. This is just a mechanism to divert the conversation. Next post will be about the kubel. |
Assault Jadg with tanks, inf and support weapon at once? Damn... that must by really high APM
Umm yes, its called combined arms.
But nevermind.
It does not require to build JT/Ele since last change. If you see HE shells, go hard with Blitz on Panther/PzIV. ISU will probably switch to AP and then attack with volks/pzgrens.
1 AT nade and your blitz is over, and so is your armor.
On the other hand, JT + 2 Volks squads with schrecks can be hard do deal with. All you need to do is place JT in nice, open area and secure flanks with mines/paks/volks, and since Allies dont have AT infantry you can give a fuck about infantry attacking JT yet still you will have Obers, Panzerfuss or even T4 near.
Allies don't have at infantry? This is news to me.
But more importantly - if you actually believe what you are spewing, would you be willing to trade your ISU-152 for a Jad? |
Jad is almost a complete waste now, IMHO. Looking at it from a bang for your buck perspective - you get much more out of the ISU-152 than the Jad. Its wiping fully vetted/full health squads regularly. In order for the jad to be effective it will need a range increase. Its becoming increasingly harder to win against allies in 1v1/2v2. The meta call ins for soviets is raping axis. Pretty easy to call in 2 t'34 85s and mark target and you can basically wreck any tank. People always say you can't make a mistake as allies - I think this pendulum has officially moved into the allies favor, especially if we are talking OKW - you can't expect Pumas or Jadpanzer, or even a panther to be able to take on 2 t34/85 w/mark target, couple this with a USF players using p47s and it won't matter what you do.
Also wanted to add the difficulty to kill these units. You can assault a Jad with armor- infantry - support weapons. You cannot use combined arms to kill a ISU-152 - it requires you to build a Jad/Elephant or completely clear the field before you make an assault with armor. |
You really believe that axis teams in 4v4 are favored because of better players?
I think most people would agree, newer players tend to play as allies. Don't forget there was a game before this called coh1 - many veteran players stuck to axis due to familiarity. |
"Hired will be paid in Allied tears and war spoil drops." |
This should have to be built in controlled territory. Not sure why it can be built in neutral/enemy territory. |
Stop making this thread and repost your original post as a reply.
Yeah. L2P, kid. |
Out of respect for Napalm, I'm not going to go into this again. If you look on the first page, you'll get your answers.
I wanted you to note that the same #1 team in axis 4v4AT is also able to achieve #1 in allies 4v4AT - to show you that its possibly good teamwork and some skill that which has made them successful, not just 'axis op'. You somehow took that as me telling you L2P. Even though that was my not what I was saying, but so what if I was? Are you really that insecure that you're going to lash out like a teenager because someone may think its in the realm of possibility that it may be you and not balance? You can tell me l2p all you want, and ill say thanks - can you give me an idea of what I could do differently to improve. The point of the comment was to look at yourself before you constantly cry balance. There are players who are able to be successful with both factions and of course there are balance issues that need to be addressed - always have, always will. You can go ahead and wait for some magical ground-breaking patch that will revolutionize the game and you'll be sooooo sweet. In the meantime, I will keep playing and keep improving - no matter the game state. |
And I'm saying, just like in my previous reply, that minor changes may have been made between unit>unit interaction over the lifespan of the game thus far, though nothing has been done to the address the fundamental problems that have persisted since the original beta, in regard to team games. Here are the numbers to prove it. Happy?
broodwarjc, I don't need to calm down brother, I'm chill, I'm chill. Also, the kubel was just an example in my argument, I'm indifferent to it.
Ok so because they are #1 in both factions they are just a good team, but balance is an issue for everyone else? You can't have it both ways. And for the record, they are currently active on both ladders and constantly play both factions to keep themselves at the top. You are only solidifying my point. You will skew and bend the numbers to whatever you want, constantly deflecting culpability onto something rather than yourself. |
