It looks to me that: US Armor: For Armor rushes, Skip T4 US Infantry: Good for long team games US Airborne: Good for shorter, smaller games. ---------- OKW Special Ops: Armor rushes, Skip T4 OKW LW: Good for shorter, smaller games. Thread: US: Mortar Halftracks or M8?26 Jun 2014, 05:28 AM The Infantry company commander is good for long, grueling team games and breaking the deadlock with lots of indirect fire. It's a lot of fun. I like the M8/MHT but unfortunately I have been rushing Sherman with my fuel by mid game. Sometimes I have been making 1 x MHT first if needed. Then after getting the vital tanks I have the choice of M8 or MHT to support. Games destined to be shorter (with strong early game) so far I think Airborne is the best. I start up by dropping down 50 cals at my base to quickly cover the essential capzones for an early lead. I haven't played against Ostheer yet but using Armor vs. Ost does make sense as it is a 'rush armor, skip T4' commander. The rest is standard VCOH play. M8 on the other hand hurts more but costs twice as much fuel. I dont really have an opinion as i didnt really play much with both units yet, so ill abstain.. And i definetly prefer Airborne vs OKW and Armor vs Ostheer the most, i use Infantry the least In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: Disappointed with OKWs extra commanders26 Jun 2014, 02:26 AM The P4 Ausf J is the 'OKW/OF-ized' version of the P4. It is upgradable with Tank commander, skirt armor, HE/AP switch shells, artillery strike, combat blitz (?) and has 1-2 more abilities that I didn't fully catch. I like it. Affe, go play Men of War AS:2 if you want every tank. The COH RTS system shouldn't have so many redundant units in the same faction. They'll never do it. The Hetzer is just a worse version of the Jagdpanzer IV. In: COH2 Gameplay

I consider it effectively 300 fuel/450 fuel adjusted (including T4) It costs a fortune. going Jagdtiger is much cheaper. (240 fuel/360 fuel adjusted, no teching) Surprisingly, Tiger I/II have similar main gun penetration but the Tiger II does 240 damage. I also only got a war spoil (got 2 crap bulletins) after winning and doing well in a long team game (45 minutes plus). That might be the key for raising the odds. Almost everytime I get the most points by far. Also from what I've seen I only got Spoils from longer games. Loot until now was 1 Bulletin (rare), 1 victory strike( uncommon), 2 Commanders I think. Played about 10 hours yesterday and 5 today. By the way. 2 P4s J with vet only cost 180 fuel. Really? Seems quite imbalanced. Thats the ordinary cost for a Ost P4 without teching... In: Lobby
