Thread: Broken balance - Soviets vs OKW26 Jun 2014, 19:59 PM Don't upgrade them with G43s. The difference isn't big enough to warrant that. The advantage is they require no build time early on, are cheap/effective, and they see kind of like snipers. All munitions upgrades go to the first 3 x panzershrecks. https://coh2-stats.herokuapp.com/small_arms I like FJ's surprise ability but they are so, so expensive to reinforce and to lose. Panzerfusiliers + Volksgrens with Panzershreck is a good duo to use at least against the USA. In: COH2 Balance

The problem is when fighting soviets, T-34s start coming in at that mark and any more delays are GG. So the early game, it'll revolve around good use of infantry as no light AFVs will be made. i'm still trying to figure it out myself. Thread: Sturm offizer and Panzerfusilier26 Jun 2014, 18:29 PM Checked again- it's 3 x G43s. The unit has extended sight range. The G43s are not worth it. Their engagement range is also 35. It's a very good unit although the AT nade is no where as good as the PzS. Grenades are good. Volksgrens w/ pzS are still needed. Thread: Broken balance - Soviets vs OKW26 Jun 2014, 16:14 PM I like sending sturmpio (or FJ) + 1 volksgren squad to each VP area. They complement each other quite well with sturmpios doing the DPS (which hurts light vehicles) with volksgrens making sandbags on VP points and eventually getting a shreck. All munitions go to panzershreck upgrade (puppchen is too unwieldy). With spec ops commander, they get the Assgren grenade volley for 10 (15 adjusted) munitions. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Sturm offizer and Panzerfusilier26 Jun 2014, 14:14 PM Opinions on them? I've had unwanted retreats with the sturm offizer due to not handling him properly. Katitof: Sturm officer it is 1.2 or 1.25 accuracy modifier. Most likely something similar for ROF of sherman. Panzerfusilier: They seem to work pretty well as meat shield with 6 x Gren like k98 damage (conscripts, volksgrens) even although their AT ability is not that good. I miss a lot and it's hard to see if they fired the AT nade or not. They don't suffer from squad wipes as often as the other German squads so I often get vet 5. The G43 upgrade doesn't seem to be worth it at all (2 x G43s (?)) after checking Coh2stats. https://coh2-stats.herokuapp.com/small_arms Do panzerfusiliers have bonus range or sight???? Thread: US: Mortar Halftracks or M8?26 Jun 2014, 12:08 PM I got 110 kills with the 1 x Priest, 26-ish kills with 1 x M8, and 11 kills with the MHT in one massive team game (4 x 4, 1:20) I never lost the priest but I lost the M8/MHT to a tank attack during mid-late game. I got a lot of kills by bombing forward medical trucks while a blob was healing/reinforcing in it.
