Thread: Interview Greg Wilson about October Patch28 Oct 2014, 22:57 PM Does anyone have further information on the next large CoH2 tournament? I've been looking forward to SNF for a few months now and am hoping it's just around the corner. However my spidey sense suggests that perhaps it will be replaced by the major ESL tournament that was mentioned in the interview. Thread: Elefant and Sniper 2v2 Vs USF25 Aug 2014, 15:44 PM The following game is one which I very much enjoyed which saw me attempting to employ some tactics I liked to use before the release of the western front armies. I've found it difficult to use snipers against the USF due to the high damage output of riflemen and it was a real pleasure to have success with the Wehrmacht sniper in this game. Another cool feature of this game was the use of the Elefant which is seldom seen in team games since the range nerf. Features: - Vet 3 wehr sniper - Vet 3 Panzer 4 that saves my bacon multiple times - Vet 3 Elefant that dishes out an extraordinary 25000 damage - waves of USF assaults supported by shock troops - Multiple armored assaults by the allies using Shermans, Jacksons and the powerful IS2 I hope you guys enjoy watching. Thread: Hi everybody!4 Jul 2014, 02:35 AM My alias is Lifer and I've been a member of the site since sometime last year but haven't really said hello and introduced myself. I played vCoH under a variety of names from about 2007 and picked up CoH2 on release. This game is sensational and is only getting better in my opinion. Traditionally I've played a lot of 2v2, especially with my partner Ozena (StoneTheCrow01) who is a friend from way back. Recently I've been playing more 1v1 and larger team games with friends. Sunday Night Fights season 5 was the first e-sports event that I've taken the time to watch and I enjoyed every minute of it. I now regularly watch players when they stream and try to catch as many SNF events as I can, though the time difference is a pain! (I live in Australia, though I'm a proud kiwi!). During SNF 5 I was supporting AndyIsRippin because of his unique play style and the interesting strategies he brought to competitive play, like the Urban Defense commander. In recent times I've really enjoyed Twisters play style and was really pleased to see him win the first ESL 1v1 cup featuring the WFA. His match against Jesulin in an earlier ESl 1v1 cup final was absolutely outstanding. Fortunately I was able to team up with the guys from Generals Gentlemen (shoutout to The Machine and ArchonHawk!) and cast that game as well as a few others. Thread: Tense 1v1 USA v OKW Road to Kharkov4 Jul 2014, 02:21 AM Still early days with the western front armies but this game had me on the edge of my seat. Strategos had a very strong early game with excellent kubelwagen use and some well placed field defences. I was able to stay in the game and fight through to the middle and late game with vet US infantry. The late game became rather desperate when the King tiger hit the field and it was a run to the finish! GG strategos. Special shoutout to my Pathfinders who performed admirably. In: Replays
