Thread: Veteran (age) league and tournaments10 Feb 2014, 04:25 AM Rookies can build up confidence in the junior leagues before hitting the big leagues. [baseball reference this time.] The first tourney starts early in the year, the 2nd tourney mid year and the main event sometime in the early -ber months. Doing all three tourneys at the same time is doable but would probably be taxing and exhausting for the organizers. In: Lobby

Heavyweight: rank 1-300 Middleweight: rank 301-5000? lightweight: rank 5001 below Naturally, you'd need to be with-in the given rank at the time of the tourney itself, not during registration. [IE, rank 10k player registers for lightweight division but is ranked 27 come tourney day. Said player either agrees to be transferred to the appropriate division or forfeits his registration.] Higher division gives the best prizes while lower divisions get something like commanders/skins/faceplates/DLC packs. This could probably be done every 4 months to give time to organize, find sponsors and players to aim for higher ranks/prizes. Players who are caught deliberately dropping rank to troll on lower divisions will be barred from the next 2 tourneys. Habitual delinquents shall be barred from all future tournaments. Divisions would not only cater to our upcoming stars, it would also give us better qualifying matches in the creme de la creme division. Pick your fights: You tried to throw an AT nade at a scout car but you had to go through a pio and gren squad before you could get in range of the upgunned scout car. That's a perfect recipe for manpower drain. Try to catch lone squads when you have 2-1 advantage or lure them to your maxim. 2. Improve your start-up: You built T2 right off the bat and I assumed it was to boost your CP for fast shocks or get maxims for support ASAP but a. You got out shocks at around 2 cp b. Your maxims was used to camp houses and not really support your infantry 3. Capping order: Yeah, you missed a spot 4. Support your units: You often left your SU85's without sufficient infantry support which led to your frequent repairs and fall backs because you were being chased by that one PG shreck squad 5. Don't blob: Yes, 2-3 squads playing poker on top of an enemy point is a juicy target for any AOE unit. I'm no expert but those we're just a few points that I see that you could improve on. Input lag - Nothing is more frustrating than being able to see that molotov/rifle nade animation and still get hit just because of that darn delay. 2. Timezone - the previous tourney's are always in the early morning for me. 3. Lack of team games - 1v1 is fine and all but i prefer 2v2 matches. In: Lobby

Thread: Don River is unbalanced11 Jan 2014, 08:18 AM Hmmm.. I kinda like the way this map is laid out. It is a bit lopsided but it definitely isn't totally bad. The retreat path for the south is the worst part for this map though as the southern player will always be at a disadvantage. What if the start point of the southern player were to be placed on the east corner instead? That would somewhat solve retreat path issue although you'd need to rework the whole southern part of the map for that to work. Thread: Vehicle Scopes: Useless?10 Jan 2014, 03:16 AM Placed on a vet 2 scout car, they can give you line of sight to almost all the way to the enemy base on an open map such as langres. Placed on the elephant, the elephant can scout targets on its own. Add hull down and it's a pretty powerful armor destroyer at very long range especially if you have them overwatching a choke point. The same can be done to a pangther to increase it's range, but panthers are better used on the move unless you have a couple of extra's. In which case, you've probably dominated the game already. On any other unit, they have limited to no use at all since most armors in the ostheer arsenal are used on the move and should seldom be stationary. In: Ostheer Strategies

Players may get to 5 star by doing compstomps. They'd feel empowered because of their level then get completely obliterated by lower stared players who have better experience with RTS games.
