Thread: Balance Preview Update 09/08/20158 Sep 2015, 18:38 PM Okay why is the King Tiger, Tiger, and Jagdtiger being buffed. These are the changes I am strongly against. Brits and flame definitely needed to be nerfed, but there is absolutely no reason why these heavy tanks need a buff. These heavy tanks were good enough! That +5 on the Tiger and King Tiger is gonna make the tank way too safe when its shooting especially considering how much armor it has. Honestly this is going to create more incentive for heavy tank gameplay. I suggest reverting the King Tiger, Tiger, and Jagdtiger buff. Think about team games where fuel is a plenty!!! Can someone explain how the Jagdtiger is only a little more expensive than a Tiger I? In: Lobby

I would add in buffs/changes to units that are seldom used due to their under-performance. Please at least take a look at them: M3 Assault Group Ostheer SdkFz 250 that comes w/ LMG Gren or PG squad Soviet 45mm light AT gun WC51 dodge, USF major artillery strike USF Riflemen increased sight that comes with recon company (buggy; add passive not in cover too! ) KV-2 Advanced Vehicle Crews (thompson upgrade) USF dual paratrooper + AT gun call-in Soviet Defensive Doctrine Ostheer Defensive Doctrine Soviet PMD mines. I just really want to see these units in the game, it would really make it more interesting. In: Lobby

Thread: Flame Change Discussion1 Sep 2015, 23:04 PM So Relic's been changing around how fire works in CoH 2 and its quite puzzling why it has been changed all of a sudden. Sometimes I think its an overall buff and sometimes I think its an overall nerf. What do you guys think? And how will flamethrower strategies change? Flame Weapons All Infantry Flamethrower damage reduced 8 All Flamethrowers that originally had accuracy of 11 now has accuracy of 1. All Infantry Flamethrowers have had their weapon scatter increased because they now rely more on accuracy than scatter. Stuka Incendiary bomb damage increased from 10 to 40 Flame Weapons and Flame Criticals We were not happy with how Flamethrower weapons took on the role of an anti-infantry upgrade when its role was anti-cover. All Infantry and Vehicle Flame weapons now spawn a flame Damage over time on the location of the flame burst. Flame weapons also have a 50% accuracy debuff while moving. This is to prevent flame units from acting like assault troops or easily wiping retreating infantry. Flame Criticals no longer trigger at 50% health but at 0%. All Flame Weapons have had their damage increased to compensate All Flame Weapons now leave a flame DOT doing damage over time in that area. All Infantry and Vehicle Flame weapons are 50% less accurate while moving. In: COH2 Gameplay
