Thread: Relics Legendary Team Game Matchups2 Feb 2021, 22:04 PM Aight, playing a 4v4 and expecting good players and/or similiary ranked players will result in frustrations and rage. If you want to play 4v4, come in knowing you will play with and against mainly casual incompetent players. Sure there are some good players in the search but don't expect it. Play arranged teams if you like 4v4 but want competent teammates. Or do it like me, play 4v4 knowing you might just have to carry the team. That way you come in expecting the worst teammates lol. On the other hand once you play 2v2 and 1v1 games, I find the tables flipped. My 2v2 teammates are pinging me and calling me a mfer or getting steamrolled by 1v1 Tourney players in automatch. All of its potential roles are taken up by: Elefant Jagdpanzer IV Jagdtiger Panther Sturmgeschutz When you add weapons of the same role to a videogame, you get clear dominance of one weapon over the other. If JPanther was added into the game it would just be a "better x" or a "weaker x." This does not create more balance or interesting decisions in the game. This just increases the complexity of the game at the expense of gameplay. I doubt it will even increase variety because either the JPanther or some other unit will be overshadowed by the other. The only way I see this being added is if there was a new 6th faction that needed a fixed turret ranged tank destroyer In: COH2 Gameplay

(I believe relic's own tool for reading dmp files gives a better analysis) Here's a snip: Good old C++ nullptr exception. Basically you are trying to access memory that doesn't exist anymore. For example if you try to call Rifleman.Shoot() but that particular rifleman died and was deallocated from memory, it throws a access violation error. Kudos to you finding the dump file, I tried finding it in crashes folder but couldn't find anything helpful In: COH2 Bugs

Thread: Extremely Buggy Replays29 Jan 2021, 00:06 AM I've have gotten about 50 bugsplats so far just from watching replays. I watch replays after every one of my matches and more than 50% of them result in bugsplats within the first 5 minutes. Idk if there is a correlation but I think maybe 2x speeding the replay increases the chance. But I have had bugsplats at 1x speed. This is ridiculous especially because this means I cannot watch replays. I have reported the bugsplats to Relic. I don't remember this ever happening pre-64 bit. Note: I don't get bugsplats in-game, just during replays. I don't get bugsplats during load. I only get bugsplats during replay or in-lobby, or after I watched a replay and went back to lobby. Thread: Some penalty for leavers in team games28 Jan 2021, 17:40 PM Do it like CSGO, timeout until game is over or 30 mins whichever is longer. Also ban them if done repeatedly. Unfortunately CS:GO uses server authority networking, not lockstep networking like COH2, so you cannot reconnect. Only way to reconnect in COH2 is if you fast forward through the whole game which is a bad experience In: COH2 Gameplay
