That gives you better tanks but no better breadth of capability. Going T4 gives you more options If you are doing that then your partner can go T3 and get an ISU 152 which, for the moment anyway the Germans find hard to deal with. Thread: Guards or Penals?18 Jun 2014, 19:20 PM I know that the 1v1 meta they keep talking about is sniper guards. But I am rarely seeing guards in my (limited) 1v1 play In the 3v3 and up games that most people actually play I'm hardly seeing any guards this patch. With Blitz nerfed and Soviet Armour actually useable in this patch there does not seem a lot of reason to use them whereas beforehand button was really useful. Unlike a lot of people, I can distinguish between the combat arm of the SS and the non-combat arm, and it's why I said that Relic is moving in a positive direction, since the combat arm of the SS did indeed play a major role in both the Eastern and Western Front, and I only hope that after a year or so games can actually portray historical factions as they were in real life. Thread: Build Orders for Soviet Industry17 Jun 2014, 12:01 PM Well, point of a fuel cache was to get to build T3 adn get to 3CP early. SI doesn't help you before then and fuel bloat is not an issue before you have maybe 4 tanks on the field by which point you have probably won Thus far early engineer spam seems bad. In the early game there are not enough munitions for mines and while they can cap they run into grens and have to run away. Snipers I have never had success with, and not here either. So at the moment I am sticking with Penals, though I may try M3s again. In: Red Army Strategies
