I have 56mb of maps up, not 100mb... all maps give the yellow triangle error code 2 & the ones that did upload (& all yet to upload) now have the minimap flipped as if all the previous effort to flip in photoshopped has been fixed & now must be undone. LAME. |
I'm getting this same error with ALL my maps after 6 uploaded no problem, & I know there are no duplicates or others doing the same map. patiently waiting a fix so I can post all 25 maps! |

A mapentry point always belongs to the sector owner. When you set up a team territory and assign it to player 1, all mapentry points in this team territory will belong to player 1, you can't change it, because the WB will always overwrite it again, but that doesn't matter since the whole team shares these map entry points. The only exception you use the mapentry_point_player object. I hope this is the answer you are looking for.
oh, weird... so they come out at random spots of the map entry's spots for player 1 (or whomever is assigned to be the ter owner team they are on)? I thought the relic maps I extracted had em all separated even tho on shared ter.

I'm having issues (& don't remember seeing a solution) of having the map entry points reset to player 1 in SHARED territory (or whomever owns it)... no matter the "default" or "current" options set. If I add a map entry point, change it to a diff player owner than the ter belongs to it resets, forcing me to create sep ter for each player... quite the pain! |

wow.. that's really odd... I have several pals that I play these with and all of them have no problems (as well as others on here). I think it's something with your install or directory structure? I dunno! I hope ya figure it out. |

The conversions are nice, but they miss detail. I find them "too simple" looking
yep... in some, the amount of things needed to be swapped for coh2 from coh1 was too much, so I just deleted them. I hardly even notice the killer detail the game has due to the frantic nature of the gameplay & that to be zoomed in to actually see it means I'm probably dead elsewhere. Again, really all these are for me & my buddies & our particular style of play & just throwing them out there online in case others want them too... not meant to be anything but easier versions or choke point maps or whatever. |
Hey I read somewhere, that for coh2 less sectors are better in regards of economy. I really like your conversions. But would be even better if you can adjust the sector numbers to coh2 standards.
