Obersoldaten get outperformed by Fallschirmjägers in everything. Falls have more DPS at all ranges, no Muni cost, no Fuel cost, can spawn from buildings, have caustic smoke and grenades and a Panzerfaust.

I'm sure that Obers beat Falls in HP and armor.

Okay let's stop this go to reason for all the buff X discussions. I'll cover team games here since only the l2p and insane claim OKW is OP in 1v1. First lets look at the meta. Allied can overwhelm and subdue Axis in early and mid game. Axis mistakes at this stage can be capitalized on by an organized team and crush them. Now Axis reaches late game, it begins a snowball effect the longer the late goes on. (though Allied can under right conditions snowball early-mid game leads into late game wins by strangling axis) Allied will be punished much more for mistakes leading up to late game than AXis mistakes on the course of mid game. Now someone tell me what is the list of reasons OKW is OP? Then lets us discuss if it truly is unbeatable and way over performing like most threads claim.

I know some of you are tired of the meta. AXIS Late game crush hur hur..Allied overwhelm early hur hur. Keep in mind for that to change to be 50/50 requires some nerfs and buffs on all sides, tech tree changes, call-in changes, and redesigns taking away faction flavor a bit.

Seeing as I try to go for double Obers as fast as possible to counter the marauding shock/rifle(choose to your liking) I can probably tell you what works against them seeing as I sometimes get face stomped really bad, despite the immense killing power of Obers.

For all the complaints on okw few people point out similar to the above. Obers are the okw counter to the rifle blobs. Problem is said counter is wrecking everything on two legs. The stuka stopped being such a good counter after good players figured out how to dodge it. Sturm is good but also risky fuel investment if they switch to heavy tank play.

How about 100% chance to crit? This would result in removing RNG as well.
All these "please-no-squad-wipes" rules are boring. Maybe we should play chess instead then?

Or maybe you are against mines and demos because... you play mostly Axis?

why does everyone go quick to responses like this that only invite more issues. Anyhow RNG is indeed cruel. I had a game the other night where a katy fired and killed my stuka becuase 4 of the missles hit in a tight group, same thing happened to a vet 3 full hp ober squad. in an earlier game my katy fired on a mass of axis infantry..killed 3-4 models no wipes, 25% dmg to a stuka....darn you RNG darn youuuuu.

yet it makes things true to combat..unpredictable to a certain margin.

don't put it in a situation where it can't; cover it with other units and use shot blockers. decreasing the reverse speed wouldn't suddenly make the tank over-extendable, it would just make it easier to do so. and really, it should apply to all tanks. although until i hear otherwise i'm going to assume it's not possible.

I think he was going after the general concept of how much harder it is for Axis to replace tanks. Which I am constantly trying to figure out how that is the case but you do feel it during games. The fuel difference on some tanks compared to Allied is not alot but it still feels harder. While on USF on a strong fuel eco, shermans galore...though said shermans galore still got beat every day of the week and four times on sunday by the AXIS AT I faced (did not say i was good with usf).
