Thread: close the pocket fail25 Mar 2020, 08:59 AM The bug has been discussed here: https://www.coh2.org/replay/104464/close-the-pocket-fail Close the pocket didn't work twice, possibly because of the map "Whiteball Express", or the urban defense HQ. The territory is not considered cut off although there is clearly no connection to the base. A side effect that will cause more frequent but less severe problems: the ressources also keep flowing in so the cutoff is strategically meaningless. Thanks! In: COH2 Bugs

Thread: Close the pocket fail19 Mar 2020, 07:59 AM thanks you for the reply! What I noticed is that the usual red blinking territories didn't happen. They were not considered cut off. so of the 3 (?) different abilities that would normally happen only the "frontline light mortar fire" did, also stated that on the victory point (message popup). Also pretty sure it would have won us the game, it was all set. Afterwards I kind of wasn't able to play on because I didn't understand what happened. Although I have never seen or read anything like that - might the forward base of the brit player have something to do with the territories not being cut off properly? In: Replays

I even captured the 2 points (it's whiteball express) one time before I clicked close the pocket. close the pocket fail happened twice in that game. 23:30 and about 30 mins on the last one. And although I feel stupid to say this considering your experience - Even if you capture it after clicking the ability it still works and starts adding the newly cut of territories. I should have a replay to prove it. Unless this has changed recently. But I'd rather find out what happened in this game first In: Replays
