Festung support + Jaegar Armor is my favor, play defensive late game and use 2 105 to bomb the enemy base(1 for each player just nonstop barrage it) and other 105 to bomb enemy strong hold with Jaegar Armor scout plane to find out where is the enemy forces at.

for soviet
mechanized support + terror tactic (or anti infantry) is my favor, only problem with terror tactic is there is no scout plane while it have 152mm depend on play style i like 152mm so i choose terror tactic most time. also terror tactic have strike bombing which is same as mechanized support, it could be great if enemy go for elefant you just need get a guard button it and two player use strike bombing on that elefant, then it is pretty much dead, 152mm also quite effective to counter elefant.

Since the new patch i tried Urban defense commander in 2v2, in certain maps it is very useful to turn a enemy building at enemy cutoff point into FHQ and hold it to lock out enemy supply in early mid game. although your infantry is quite weak like no guard or shocks but it got M42 AT which is very useful to counter T2, also a MG in FHQ and 1-2 con next to FHQ enemy can't really push you out of that sector, one game me and my fiend locked them out so long when they got 2 P4 on the field, we have 5 SU85 on the map already

i will agree on T70 self repair should be immobilize and need to be out of combat like the same way as doctrinal self repair

why are you comparing the stug and t70/su76 in a 1v1 fight? the stug is clearly an AI tank, its not really meant to fight tanks. a good player wouldnt leave a stug all alone in the first place, they would use it to support their infantry, so comparing them in a vacuum is pointless.

also, youre wrong about the stugs weak point ability. doesnt seem like youve ever used weak point before. that ability can never bounce. it penetrates 100% of the time and stuns its target.

i compare it because stug 3E felt less useful compare those two same price unit i use when i play soviet, i prob not good at that unit, barrage from SU76 is not only good when they camping but also good if their infantry is attacking your position.

ah.. i am wrong on the weakpoint then i use it couple times in battle but didn't pay much attention when it fired just notice enemy tank target hp seem didn't drop, i guess it is due to its low damage then, in my back of my head is compare it to stug 3G weakpoint.

anyway i will give this unit a try once they change the agren price again. right now i am not using this general for few days already since agren don't worth my 50mu in early game and stug 3E really don't shine in my hand so 2 out of 5 ability is useless to me so i stop using it.

By the way, want the biggest counter to FHQ? Get a mortar halftrack and use the fireball barrage - if lucky, it will flame crit the building and burn it to the ground (yes, from full HP). The mortar halftrack probably won't die to counter-barrages from their mortars if you keep moving it around.

that is only true if the building is wood build i guess, it won't work if they convert church or apartment into FHQ
