I DON'T have concerns about infantry balance. Get a grip of yourself, read your last post, you imply that the game was balanced before the last patch, which it certainly was not. Yes it was technically possible for a soviet squad to advance around cover and beat a german squad close up, but in real game conditions, soviet squads were getting rofl stomped faaaaar too easily. If you werent a German fan boy, you would clearly know this. If you consider all the top players and people like Ami 'soviet fan boys' for saying the truth that it was not balanced, good day to you. Thread: Pumas and Target Weak Point13 May 2014, 09:13 AM This is fking retarded. Puma is not right at all. It just dances around far too easy with a pak stuck to the top of it and any time you outmanouver them, bam target weak point and they swarm your one tank them disappear into the map just as quickly. There is no tank the soviets have that can face them in equal numbers and having ZiS back up does not help that much. They are just too manouverable. It makes things far too easy. Either they NEED target weak point removing, or their penetration lowering a bit so that heavy tanks are actually useful frontally vs them. Dont forget soviets have weak infantry AT, make a unit which dances in circles around any soviet armour is not good. In: COH2 Balance

You really need to take a look at all your own posts. All you do is cry for German buffs. If you have any serious concearns, I honestly encourage you to post a replay. Thread: Western Armies - Tiers and Units?12 May 2014, 17:05 PM Well from that interview, they were talking about the airborne needing to find good areas of the map to bring in reinforcements. This presumably means they drift a lot on call in and can land over a large area, possibly being hurt if they hit trees etc.. this could add tactics for fighting for a good DZ, also area denial for Germans. It could also add a risk reward element for bringing them down in risky locations. It also suggests to me that parachuting in is much more of a feature than in coh1, where only the elite inf dropped in and could reinforce anywhere. Perhaps much more of the USA inf will be airdropped, and perhaps reinforcing will be in a very different way to coh airborne. Something sounds super fishy about these new Germans, but what is anyones guess. In: Lobby

Personally 1v1 I don't like Elefants, as they are so slow, easily flanked and only AT and expensive. Thread: How Does One Counter Maxim Spam?12 May 2014, 07:28 AM For really entrenched Soviets, festung support seems custom designed, MHT, smoke bombs for large frontal assaults on maxims (only 2 cp too!) that's a great tool. Also what about a fast half track with two grens in it and just drive past the maxims, could come before too many ZiS on field and if you lose it, it's cheap so ok. Follow up with the rest of your squads frontally to split their fire. (Also less AT nades about). After initial half track raids, resort to smoke pots. Also if you get a mortar, don't forget to use its smoke to help flank, something we could all do more often. In: Ostheer Strategies
Thread: ridiculous russian buff12 May 2014, 07:11 AM 222 is great now. guards can't be everywhere and they have a shorter range. As soviet one of the main things that impacts how I play early game is 222s. Without them infantry has a much freer roam of the map. Exactly the same for soviet SC but the German one has more DPS. If you are struggling vs sniper, just use ger sniper, hold fire and only counter snipe after theirs fires, they will retreat and takes ages to reinforce plus high cost. You can snipe in the mean time and then repeat. Forcing them to be more cautious. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Gren spam to tiger11 May 2014, 21:06 PM One of most reliable ways is still KV8 backed by enough ZiS. Then an IS2. KV8 invalidates all the grens, then ZiS keep the Tiger back. Try to use shot blockers to protect the KV8 so that their vehicles would have to come around a corner to take it out (and into ZiS range). IS2 will devastate what grens persist. Or plenty of Maxims, if you can use them well, backed with good combined arms, maybe a T34 or two, then an ISU, which will handle Tigers nicely. In: Red Army Strategies
