Thread: Western Armies - Tiers and Units?13 May 2014, 16:18 PM I've been thinking about how the new German army could capture territory differently, it would make sense (historically), if they somehow started with more territory, or possibly acquired it slower, but somehow it was harder to de-cap their territory. I can't think how that could be implemented well, but I bet they have tried to make them feel like an army on the back foot. In: Lobby

They are magnets for any kind of grenade in buildings. Stick your grens in the building because they can exit instantly to dodge nades (and they don't have to reposition). In: Strategy Desk

There is no quick counter early on for 222. It out ranges guards now, con flank is most reliable, but not easy against a switched on opponent. An early ZiS loses field presence and isn't exactly sure to take out a 222. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: ISU-15213 May 2014, 13:43 PM These units are probably more OP in lower level games as well, because people tend to be less aggressive and hence easily allow someone to save for one. And then also less skilled players may struggle to pull off a good flank. In: COH2 Balance

If losing is that much of a problem, play 1v1 for a while. If Relic allowed random faction, this would also help find closer matches. In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: Is random auto match driving u crazy?13 May 2014, 10:43 AM Given that often there is only around 10 people searching for a game, its no surprise that sometimes automatch has no choice but to mismatch players. Otherwise they would just be left on searching screen for far too long. If it bothers you, help your chances by ticking as many game modes as possible, by having more selected, automatch will always pick the one which has the closest matched players.. (so say 1v1, 2v2 and 3v3). In: COH2 Gameplay

Maybe they could get a slight improvement, but not too much. They should never do too much damage at long range, and even at shorter range, they shouldnt really kill everythin easily, that would be OP imo. To get the most out of them, they should be fired before an assault from other units. Weakening their target. In: COH2 Balance

It was a good change, game felt verry tactical. Wrong. It was not done to pander to 'brainless charging', it was done because balance was very clearly in German favor. It was not a good change, it had the right idea, but was implemented far too strongly. If you dont think that makes you sound like you thought it was balanced... lol. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Pumas and Target Weak Point13 May 2014, 10:12 AM Yeah in this replay of Barton's, ZiS, T34's and SU85 all constantly miss them: http://www.coh2.org/replay/16954/beating-puma-spam/page/1 I dont think pumas are far from being balanced, they are just a little bit too good, its far too easy to invalidate T34/85s or IS2s.. target weak point and easily penetrating from the front is just insane. I would be fine if they had to flank to penetrate more reliably, or if they just didnt have target weak point. Im going to be playing a lot with puma spam find the best counters, but I fully expect a lot of abuse from my opponents. In: COH2 Balance
